Returned with 60% damage to the starboard wing root, damage to the port tail plane root, radio room and port waist MGs jammed, starboard inner fuel tank holed (self-sealed), superficial damage to the port wing flaps, fuselage (3), to the nose, pilots', bomb bay (2), waist (2) and tail compartments, with 2 lightly wounded crew members.  Claims: 5 Me-109s by SSgt. Sherwin, 2 Me-109s by 2nd Lt. Gilbert, 1 Me-110 by Sgt. Smith.
