Returned with autopilot inoperative, ball turret heat out, damage to the tail compartment oxygen system and to the starboard tail plane, superficial damage to the tail, radio room, and starboard wing, and 1 case of frostbite.  Claims: 1 FW-190 by 2nd Lt. McClain.

Returned with Autopilot, port elevator, starboard aileron, nose gun & tail guns inoperable, control cables damaged, superficial damage to the tail, starboard wind, and pilot compartment and 1 casualty.  Claims: 1 ME-109 & 1 ME-110 by Sgt. Erskine.

Aborted mission (zone-5) from loss of an engine.  Jettison bombs and returned to base alone with the #4 engine knocked out, minor superficial damage to the starboard wing, to the nose, tail, and radio compartments, and 1 casualty.  Claims: 2 ME-109s by 2nd Lt. McClain, 2 ME-109s by SSgt Sikorsky, and 1 ME-109 by Arledge.  Temporary Replacement: TSgt. Bishop.

Mission aborted (zone 5) due to loss of compartment heat and casualties.  Returned alone and landed safely at Sterparone Field with radio destroyed, bombardier and navigator compartments heat inoperable, superficial damage to port wing, port tail plane, bomb bay, waist compartment, radio compartment, nose, and control cables (82 points), and 4 casualties.  Temporary Replacement: TSgt. Hayden & Sgt. O'Dell..
