New crew replacements from the USA.  Returned with outboard starboard fuel tank holed and leaking, both wing root damaged to both wings, port aileron inoperable, control cables damaged, 10 various superficial hits (125 Damage Points) and 5 casualties.  Claims: 1 FW-190 by SSgt. Desjardin.  Replacements: Lt. Davenport, Sgts. Martinelli & Cummings.  Temporary replacement: Sgt. Duffy.

Returned with starboard wing root hits (2), damaged rudder, superficial hit to starboard wing (75 damage points) and no casualties. Claims: SSgt.
Desjardin and Sgt. Martinelli.

Sgt. Lacasse rejoins crew. Aborted mission in zone 4 inbound.  Returned alone out of formation with #2 engine, top turret, both ailerons inoperable, elevators instruments knocked out, starboard wing inboard fuel tank holed, superficial hits (3) and no casualties.

Returned with port wing flap inoperable, damage to the port wing root, superficial damage to the starboard wing, to the nose and waist compartments, and 1 casualty.  Claims: 1 ME-109 by Sgt. Wingard (later confirmed by S-2).  Temporary replacement: Sgt. Franklin.
