New crew assignment. Returned with superficial damage to the nose compartment, 1 engine, and 1 casualty.  Claims: 1 Fw-190 by SSgt. Powell (Later officially confirmed by S-2).  Replacement: 2nd Lt. Krumkie.

Returned with starboard wing root damaged (1 hit); inboard starboard fuel tank holed (self-sealed); ball turret heat out; and minor superficial damage and 1 casualty to frostbite.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by SSgt. Powell.  Permanent replacement: Sgt. Thomas.  Temporary replacement: 2nd Lt. Kuporatz.

Returned with Tail Oxygen System damaged, (1 hit); Tail Turret inoperable; Rudder damaged (1 hit); starboard Tail-plane Root (2 hits); superficial damage to the fuselage, to the Nose, Waist, Pilot's Compartment areas & to starboard Wing, port wing, flap & #4 engine; (135 Peckham points).  Two casualties.  Claims: Two ME-109s by SSgt. Powell and 1 ME-109 shared by Sgt. Thomas and SSgt. Powell.  Replacements: 2nd Lt. Pappas returns to crew and Sgt. Burroughs is assigned from replacement pool.  One of SSgt. Powell's claims is later confirmed by S-2.

Returned with both pilots dead.  Five able men bailed out over base.  The Flight Engineer attempted to land plane with a seriously wounded navigator on board but he crashed the plane on landing, killing the navigator and seriously wounding the flight engineer.
