Took BIP in radio room. Fell-out-of formation and managed to return with 3 KIA and 1 LW.  Aircraft declared as category E.  One FW-190 claimed by 2nd Lt. Spratt, one ME-190 by Sgt. Mueller, one ME-109 by Sgt. Miller, and one FW-190 & ME-109 apiece by Sgt. Gimp.

Assigned replacement aircraft 42-11817.  Returned with damage to the radio, tail wheel, port flaps, port inboard tank holed, rudder and starboard wing root.  One casualty.  One ME-109 claimed by SSgt. Simons (Later confirmed by S-2).

Returned with almost no damage and 1 casualty. Replacement: Sgt. Harris

Simons & Sgt. Harris (Sgt. Harris' FW-190 later confirmed by S-2).

Simons, 1 ME-109 by Sgt. Miller, 1 ME-109 by Sgt. Levine, 1 FW-190 by Sgt. Brown & 1 shared FW-190 by Sgts. Levine & Brown.  (ME-109 claims by SSgt. Simons & Sgt. Miller were later confirmed by S-2). Temporary replacement: 2nd Lt. Lawson.
