54 New replacement crew from the USA. Returned with tail wheel inoperable, starboard wing outboard fuel tank holed (self-sealed), damage to the starboard wing root, superficial damage holes to the fuselage, bomb bay, nose and pilots' compartments and 2 casualties. Temporary replacement: 2nd Lt. O'Conner.

Retuned with pilots’ compartment heating system, port elevator and bomb controls inoperable, damage to the tail compartment oxygen system, rudder (67%) and one of the wing roots, superficial damage to the starboard aileron, tail, bomb bay (2), waist and pilots’ compartments, and 1 casualty.  Claims: 2 Fw-190s & 1 Me-109 by Sgt. Holmes, 1 Fw-190 by Sgt. Eastman, and 1 Me-109 apiece by 2nd Lt. Wait and Sgt. Lindy.  Replacement: Sgt. Ketchum.

56 Returned with nose compartment heating system, bomb sight, aileron controls inoperable, structural damage to the starboard wing (2), superficial damage to the fuselage (2), nose (2), bomb bay (1), radio (1) and tail (1) compartments, to the starboard & port wings (2 each), #3 engine, #4 engine oil tank (estimate 251 points of damage) and 6 casualties.  Claims: 1 FW-190 by Sgt. West & 1 ME-110 by Sgt. Eastman. Replacements: 2nd Lt. Olsen & Sgt. Nelson.  Temporary replacement: Sgt. Lopez.
58 2nd Lt. Finch rejoins crew. Returned without damage or casualties.

Returned with structural damage to the starboard wing, some superficial damage to the starboard wing and the radio room (32 damage pts.) and 1 casualty.  Claims: 1 ME-109 apiece by 2nd Lt. Olsen and Sgt. Holmes.

60 Returned to base and crashed landed with 4 KIA and 6 WIA.  Aircraft destroyed on landing and written off.  Claims: 2 ME-109s apiece by 2nd Lt. Olsen & SSgt. Holmes, and 1 ME-109 apiece by TSgt. Turn and Sgt. Nelson. One of Lt. Olsen's claims was later confirmed.
