Returned with #4 engine out, fuel leak inboard port wing tank, starboard aileron inoperable, one hit to port wing root and superficial damage to bomb bay doors, radio room and 4 casualties.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by Sgt. Johnson.  Replacements: Sgts. Burrows & Taylor.

Returned with starboard landing gear inoperable; ball turret guns inoperable; rubber rafts hit; superficial damage to port and starboard wing, bomb bay doors, tail, radio room.  1 Casualty.  Claims: 1 Me-109 apiece by 2nd Lts. Hawkins, Vachon & Sgt. Seaton; 1 Fw-190 by 2nd Lt. Hawkins (confirmed by S-2).

Returned with a fuel leak in port inboard wing tank; minor damage to starboard wing root, superficial damage to starboard and port wing, tail, bomb bay areas, and no casualties.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by SSgt. Meyers.

Returned with superficial damage to bomb bay, nose, starboard wing; starboard outboard fuel tank holed (self-sealed); one hit to port waist gunner oxygen system.  1 casualty.  Claims: 1 Fw-190 by Sgt. Taylor.  Replacement: SSgt. Virgil Hoogesteger.

Dropped out of formation on the return leg in zone 5 due to navigator compartment heat loss.  Returned with navigator heat out, port wing flap inoperable, superficial damage to #2 engine and starboard wing.  No casualties.

Returned with both pilots incapacitated.  Four able men bailed out over base.  The Flight Engineer attempted to land plane with 3 seriously wounded men on board but he crashed the plane on landing, killing all aboard.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by Sgt. Taylor.
