Returned with damage to the tail section, bomb bay doors, starboard elevator, starboard tail plane root and #2 engine & no casualties.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by Sgt. Stevenson (Later confirmed by S-2).

Returned with the #4 engine's oil tank damaged from flak shrapnel, some superficial flak damage to the starboard wing, & 1 casualty.  Claims: 1 Fw-190 apiece by Sgts. Toney & Kussel.  Temporary replacement: Sgt. Petrie.

Returned with flak damage to starboard wing root, port tail plane root, rudder and port wing flap. No casualties.  Claims: 2 Fw-190 by SSgt. Smith (1 Fw-190 was later officially confirmed by S-2), 1 Fw-190 by Sgt. Ramos (later officially confirmed by S-2), and 1 Me-109 (shared kill) between SSgt. Smith and Sgt. Toney.

Stevenson released from hospital & rejoins crew.  Aborted zone 5 outbound and returned early.  Damage: radio out, Engine #4 Oil Tank Leak (shutdown after 3 zone), Norden bombsight & bomb bay doors (inoperable), Stbd Wing superficial holes, and other superficial damage.  No Casualties.  Claims: 1 Fw-190 apiece by Lt Brutvan & Sgt. Kussel, 1 Me-109 apiece by Sgts. Toney & Smith.
