New aircraft replacing Lauralee.  Returned with damage to the starboard main wing and tail plane root, to the tail compartment oxygen system, numerous holes all over a/c, and 1 casualty.  Claims: 1 Me-109 & 1 Me-110 by 2nd Lt. Pipes.

Returned with the #3 engine feathered, the chin turret inoperable, damage to the control cables, cockpit windows hit; lots of holes all over a/c, and no casualties.  Claims: 2 Me-109s by SSgt. Ross and 1 Me-109 by Sgt. Snowdon.

Returned with rubber rafts shot up, Norden bombsight, Intercom, port wing flaps, heat out for the starboard waist position, tail turret guns, starboard elevators all inoperable, damage to the starboard wing root (2), to the rudder (1), to the cockpit oxygen system hit (1), lots of holes all over a/c with 3 casualties and 1 case of frostbite.  Claims: 1 Fw-190 by Lt. Williams, 1 Me-109 by SSgt. Ross, and 1 Me-109 shared by Sgts. Ward and Parkinson. Temporary replacement: TSgt. Lynch.

Returned with rubber rafts shot up, port wing outboard fuel tank holed (self-seal), the radio, intercom, starboard elevator and tail turret guns--all inoperable, structural damage to the starboard wing root and to the port tail plane, lots of holes all over a/c and 4 casualties.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by TSgt. Lynch, 1 Me-110 by Sgt. Snowden, 1 Me-110 shared by Sgts. Snowdon and Ward, 1 Fw-190 shared by Sgt. Ward and 1st Lt. Pipes.
