New replacement crew.  Returned with starboard landing gear brakes out from flak hit and no casualties.  Claims: 1 Fw-190 apiece by Sgts. Bauer and Crew.

Reached target but unable to drop bombs due to damaged bomb bay doors.  Returned with no casualties.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by SSgt. Strickland.

Returned with starboard brakes out, flaps inoperable, damaged starboard wing root, superficial damage to #3 engine, multiple holes in the pilots' compartment, both wings & 7 casualties.  Claims: 2 Me-109s & 1 Fw-190 by 2nd Lt. Makowski (1 Me-109 later officially confirmed by S-2); 1 Me-109 & 1 Fw-190 each by SSgt. Strickland & Sgt. Crew; 1 Fw-190 by Sgt. Pender; 1 Me-109 by Sgt. Bauer (later officially confirmed by S-2); 1 Me-110 by Sgt. Abshire.  Replacement: 1st Lt. Sinclair.

Fell out-of-formation after the bomb run due to oxygen fire.  After bombing target made emergency landing on Corsica with #2 & #3 engines out, waist gunners heaters out, partial O2 system out, multiple fuel tank leaks, starboard ailerons damaged, port wing root damaged and 2 casualties.  Claims: 2 Fw-190s and 1 Me-109 by Sgt. Pender (1 Fw-190 was later officially confirmed by S-2)..  Replacement: Sgt. Parker.

Returned with just a few superficial holes in the waist and no casualties.  Claims: 1 Me-109 by SSgt. Strickland.

Returned with Nordon Bomb sight destroyed, auto-pilot inop, both flaps are inoperable, starboard elevators in-op, radio destroyed, top turret & guns inop, and dozens of misc. holes all over the plane.  6 casualties.  Claims: 1 ME-109 by 2nd Lt. Sides.  Temporary replacements: 2nd Lts. Edwards & Roberts & Sgt. Dobson

Returned with #3 engine feathered and superficial damages to both wings, nose and pilots' compartments.  1 Casualty.  Claims: 1 FW-190 & 1 ME-109 by Sgt. Pender and 1 ME-109 by 2nd Lt. Edwards (Sgt. Pender's ME-109 claim is later confirmed by S-2).  Temporary replacements: TSgt.McMichael.

Fell out-of-formation from pilots' compartment oxygen fire after bomb run.  Returned alone with #3 & #4 engines out, radio, landing gear & elevator controls inoperable, pilots' compartment window shattered, rafts destroyed, and numerous superficial shell and bullet holes throughout the aircraft.  Made belly landing; aircraft written off as beyond economical repair. 5 casualties. Claims: 1 FW-190 by SSgt. Strickland.
